A community event is being held in Hieidaira, where the company dormitory (Bonds House) is located. (These events are held about once a month.)
As this is the first event of the year, there are traditional performances such as a shishimai (lion dance) and mochi pounding. Shishimai is a traditional Japanese performance believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good health. It is often performed during New Year’s celebrations and other festive occasions, and is loved as a local community tradition.

Photos and videos from the event are included.
